Hey buddy, no need to run away

This wasn’t my first moose encounter, and for sure it is not the last one, but I’m always impressed by how big and beautiful those animals are. Even though this girl must have heard me coming, she waited patiently for me to take a picture. I wasn’t happy when she run away just the second after, not because I wanted to admire her beauty for some longer time (although I did), but because she clearly was scared. And why would she be scared, she, the Queen of the Woods?

Well, she knew what she was doing.

The news about Cogburn fatbikes, designed for hunters, with a scabbard for a gun, bow or a fishing pole and in camouflage pattern, clearly reached Norway. On one hand – tool as good as any, it’s up to hunter how she or he is going to hunt, and bike won’t change it. On the other hand – I always looked at my Edward, clearly innocent Edward, as a friend of the woods. Friend of a moose, deer, and all kind of Bambis one might think of. And here we have another fatbike – made to hunt more efficiently. I’m wondering about practicalities – wide fatbikes’ tires are undoubtedly loud, so the camouflage is not making any difference, right? No one is going to shoot while riding a bike anyway, but never mind that.

Edward is a friend of a moose, and all we can blame him for is a lack of courtesy, when he interrupted this fellow on the picture above in having her meal. Our attitude is not going to change, so no need to be scared.

But, keep a watchful eye on this guy below 😉
